Resource Description: This study analyses quantitative and qualitative information based on document review, health facility visits, and key informant interviews of staff at Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, and Khulna city corporations. The study also uses information obtained from a policy dialogue on urban health organized by Power and Participation Research Centre. We have defined city corporations and municipalities – Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) – as the urban areas. The latter includes all district towns and a large number of sub-district (upazila) towns.
