In many developing countries, lack of health care providers is seen as the primary bottleneck to the population getting the health prevention, care, and treatment services they need. Health Systems 20/20, the USAID flagship project for health system strengthening, is using its expertise and experience in HRH and health systems strengthening, and health care financing, to provide evidence about what works in HRH improvement interventions.
