Resource Description: In an effort to better understand what the EPHS are and what they are being used for in the EPCMD countries, USAID requested that HFG conduct an analysis to provide a “snapshot” for each of the priority countries. The activity results enable quick identification of the EPHS for the studied countries, allowing practitioners to identify cross-cutting themes, identify gaps, and better understand practical application of EPHS. EPCMD priority countries include: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, DR Congo, Ethiopia, Ghana, Haiti, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mozambique, Nepal, Nigeria, Pakistan, Rwanda, Senegal, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Yemen, Zambia. For each country, the HFG team identified the EPHS, compared the EPHS to priority RMNCH interventions, and analyzed governance dimensions of the EPHS.
