Resource Description: Despite strong global commitment to achieve universal health coverage (UHC), inconsistent understanding and communication about UHC hinders progress. The experience of the Health Finance and Governance (HFG) project suggests that advocating for and communicating about UHC requires deliberate, tailored, context-specific strategies. HFG has supported global and country-specific initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership, building capacity, and enabling effective communication for UHC.
